If you need to make a demand under the Lemon Law, you can use one of the following letters as a sample. One of the letters is for requesting a replacement device, the other is for requesting a refund. You can only ask for either a replacement or a refund. Choose the letter for the remedy you would like. You can either copy the language from the sample letter or print it out and fill in the blanks.
You will need to provide the type of device you bought, the date you bought the device, and what vendor you bought it from. You will also need to provide information about what is not working with your device.
Once you have completed the letter send it to either the manufacturer of the device, the vendor you purchased it from, or both. You should keep a copy of the letter for your records.
