Kayla Ciany is the Manager of Intake at DRRI and joined the team in 2026. Since graduating from college in 2017, she has built her career in human services, advocating for and supporting individuals with disabilities across a wide range of community-based settings.
Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
Starting her professional journey in Connecticut, she served as a Support Coach for Camp Horizons. There, she built a foundation in person-centered care and supports that emphasize dignity, autonomy, and individual choice.
Throughout her career, Kayla has worked in employment services, emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence, special education, housing stabilization, family service coordination, and reducing barriers to mental health treatment. These experiences inform her client-centered and systems-focused approach to intake, ensuring individuals and families feel supported, understood, and guided from their first point of contact.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her dog, Daisy, studying the French language, and reading mystery novels.
