Mark Weeden joined DRRI as a staff attorney in August 2025. Prior to joining DRRI, he worked for Rhode Island’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services, where he represented a state agency in pretrial matters before the Rhode Island Family Court. Before attending law school, he first served for four and a half years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and later worked in ACH/check fraud at a financial institution. Mark earned his J.D. and a M.A. in Cybersecurity from Roger Williams University, as well as a B.S. in Finance from Johnson & Wales University. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and learning new skills.
