Olivia (“Liv”) Lozier is a recent graduate of Roger Williams University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology and Cultural Studies. Her journey into disability advocacy began in Washington, D.C., as an intern with the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN), the national membership association for the Protection and Advocacy (P&A) network. At NDRN, Liv worked closely with the public policy team to research, track, and provide commentary on federal legislation impacting the P&A network.
Inspired by this experience, Liv returned to Rhode Island to complete an internship with Disability Rights Rhode Island (DRRI) while finishing her undergraduate studies. During her internship, she contributed to various projects, including community outreach, policy analysis, and supporting attorneys with client advocacy.
Now serving as a Legal Advocate at DRRI, Liv is committed to advancing disability justice and is eager to continue learning from both her colleagues and the clients she serves.
