The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island (BIARI) provides resources and support for people with a brain injury and their family members.
Support Groups
BIARI offers both virtual and in-person supports groups for people with a brain injury and family members. People in these groups are in similar situations, so they can provide emotional support and friendships. The groups also share information and resources, and listen to speakers discuss a variety of topics related to brain injury.
In-person support groups meet monthly at:

Resource Center
BIARI also offers a resource center. Resources include:
- The Lending Library (books, journals, videos).
- Brain injury resource guides (Educational Pamphlets & Brochures).
- Information about Regional Rehabilitation Opportunities.
- Brain Injury In-Service Training for professional & community groups.
- Referrals/Professional Needs (Neurologist, Therapists, Attorneys).
