Resource Spotlight: The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island

The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island (BIARI) provides resources and support for people with a brain injury and their family members.

Support Groups

BIARI offers both virtual and in-person supports groups for people with a brain injury and family members. People in these groups are in similar situations, so they can provide emotional support and friendships. The groups also share information and resources, and listen to speakers discuss a variety of topics related to brain injury.

In-person support groups meet monthly at:

  • Ocean State Center for Independent Living (OSCIL)
    1944 Warwick Avenue, Warwick RI
  • Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island (BIARI)
1017 Waterman Avenue, East Providence RI

For details about upcoming support groups visit https://biari.org/events/category/support-groups/ or call (401) 228-3319.

  • Brain injury resource guides (Educational Pamphlets & Brochures).
